After failing to surmount 16’ or higher from 6 Lefts, I decided to utilize my speed and move back to 7 Lefts. The video in post #12.5 was from 7 lefts and instantly, I felt a difference. I had several near makes over the 17’ (5.20m) bungee. That’s hardly plateau-ing in terms of my goals for the year, but I know that I have more physical capability than I am displaying right now. As for the technical side, I am still struggling with key positions in the latter half of the vault. Right now I am remaining passive for too long. I have to continually move and stay active, driving my shoulders down as I raise my hips. This will help me get in a better position and will give me the extra 6-8 inches that I am looking for on my “best” jumps.
