"The Athletic Association of Independent Schools is seeking a pole vault
coach. The League is adding pole vault for the first time. The
position includes coaching girls from approximately 8-10 schools who are
learning to pole vault for the first time.
Practice will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5:30pm at
Icahn Stadium, Randall's Island with the addition of meets 1-3 times per
week. The number of athletes interested is TBD. The outdoor season
runs from mid-March to mid-May.
The ideal candidate will have competed in the pole vault, preferably at
at least the collegiate level; have experience working with girls; have
experience working with beginners; have excellent attention to detail
and communication skills; and have a passion for track and field.
