After an impressive performance opening up for the Nappy Roots last month, not only testing out new music but bringing out live instrumentation for the show turned out to be a sure shot to providing opportunities to do it again in front of the people!!
Openers include Chicago M.C.,... ProbCause and group Second City Citizens.
The mission in mind, seeing that this is Jay's (as well as the band's) first headline performance, is to PACK the Canopy. It has been put on our hands to try to stir up the Hip-Hop scene that used to be very strong in C-U but slowly faded away over time. This is our first attempt to restore what seems to be lost. It's not going to be an easy task and we won't be able to do it on our own, so with that said lets PACK the Canopy and bring the Hip-Hop movement back to life together!!
