Video: 4.75m miss @ 8 Steps
The key to me having a succesful jump is a great takeoff. In practice, it is like night and day when I do this right or wrong. The key is to maintain pressure on the pole from front to back (loading the pole). My goal on every successful jump it to transfer as much energy from my feet to my hands as possible. If this done correctly, my swing times up better and I get a better release off of the pole. I need improve the speed of my swing, my posisition on the pole and I need to line up better.
